This one, I would never have thought of on my own. I bought this great cookbook at 5 Below. Yes 5 Below. I have snagged some really great books there. I saw caramelized lemons, so I thought let me try this with every kind of citrus. It is so easy and can be used for so many things.
Salad Dressings etc...
What you will need:
Citrus fruit of choice
He is how it's done
1. Drizzle some Olive oil sparingly on a roasting pan.
2. Line up your thinly 1/8th inch sliced citrus. Oranges, Lemons, Limes and or grapefruit.
3. Sprinkle with sea salt, brown sugar and or other season of choice like cayenne.
3. Roast @ 425 until the magic happens. Caramelization.
